Storing a vehicle (car, boat, RV, etc) in Ontario carries with it a few extra considerations. Here’s a handy list of things to look for in a storage facility to insure your vehicle is stored safely:

Access (is there enough space for your vehicle to be maneuvered and parked easily and properly?)
Security (How secure is the facility? Security gate, emergency flood lights, cameras, guards?)
Insurance (is the storage facility insured and is the insurance up to date, valid and insure enough coverage?)
Facilities’ Cleanliness (Clean? Dust-free? Smoke-free?)
Protection Against Fires (Smoke Detectors? Fire Extinguishing System?)
Climate Controlled (for humidity and temperature – is the unit heated?)
Weather Protection (is the unit covered from the rain, snow and other elements?)
